This new, hand tied rope O-ring snaffle bit features a mouth that is made of two strands of 1/4" diameter twisted 2-strand soft lay nylon lariat rope, on heavy 3 5/8" nickel plated steel rings. This bit will have more texture and "feel" than our smoother single 4-strand rope bit. Mouth piece is approximately 5 1/2 inches between the knots, and should fit most horses who take a 5" mouth in a metal bit. Ready to ship - Only one available!

funwithleatherThanks so much! I should know better than to loan out my favorite tack… I never learn. It doesn’t have to be exactly the same size but 5” is small for the horses I ride. And I put rubber donuts on it so roomy is good. I could probably get by with the single rope version if it’s too much of a pain to reproduce. Great work, btw!! I also purchased a braided rope bosal you made & I like it a lot for colts. Quite a craftsman! Best, Lisa
