Rare Find! Vintage, upscale, black, heavily beaded & pleated box purse from the 1940s. Lid is a golden amber resin type material with copper hinge and clasp. Remainder of the purse, including the strap, is tight beading. Beaded body of the purse is pleated, like rolling waves. Interior of purse shows some aging - edging on mirror on inside of lid has age marks, and interior form is a bit loose. Suggest holding rim when opening the purse lid (it's a bit loose). This is a stunning vintage purse, considering it's at least 80 years old!
