bullnine09 I made this bag. The strap is long because when I make them for a wholesale order, I make it longer so that the end customer can adjust according to their height. You pull one side down (where the knot is) and adjust according to where you want it to sit on your hip, etc. then you retire the knot and cut the ends to match the other side. This leather can be cut using some decent fabric scissors. The strap can be removed altogether as well.
