Vintage NYC Coach Swag Bag #9520

Vintage NYC Coach Swag Bag #9520 from the late 70's in Mocha. Turnlock closed flap opens to two gusseted pockets. One open pocket on the interior of the bag. 38" detachable, adjustable wide strap. Solid brass stamped strap hardware. Original hangtag with faceted bead chain. Measures 17 ½" x 14 ½" x 4 ½" Exterior has some darker patina in spots either due to wear and or stains. Two of what look like scratch marks, one on the front and one on the back of exterior. Front scratch marks are more rounded bumps with one tiny hole. Back scratch marks are more rounded bumps with some flaking. There are two small tears in the piping by the strap hardware that haven't been repaired. Some wear marks on the piping of the flap from the strap hardware. One strap rivet was reinforced and I trimmed that up to look nicer. Strap is in overall good condition with two of the holes being more stretched out than others and some hardware patina marks. Interior has several areas of worn suede on the bottom of the bag, one very worn. Back side of interior pocket has some great cow hide marks. One repair was made to one side of the exterior handle. Bad repair job was taken out and replaced with a great repair job in original holes. Hardware was cleaned with sunshine cloths. Many rounds of Leather CPR was applied. Cleaned with saddle soap. No odors. No colorants used. Preventatively treated with vinegar for mold. No signs of mold.
