VINTAGE 1940s VENETIAN MURANO MORETTI MILLEFIORI GLASS BEAD SET, includes both NECKLACE AND EARRINGS. These are Original Pieces. I don't use photo filters on any of my pieces.
NECKLACE:
Brass barrel clasp
Fine quality smooth oval millefiori glass beads separated with knots and filigree brass spacers.
Length: 26" long. 37 Beads 3/4" Long x 10mm, approx.
EARRINGS: Oval 6/8" Long x 1/2" Wide Brass Clip on.
Earrings have Marks. I believe one says J and the other says Italy.
***Smooth surface of the beads and the fact that there are no gaps between the canes
points to the shop of Moretti.
Vintage excellent condition.
These wonderful beads are still glossy/shiny with no chips or cracks. The stringing is the original and it is clean with no stretch.
