This set belongs to my Granny who received it as a gift and put it away to keep it nice and has never used it. Made in Japan circa 1971 Made to look like wood but is actually made of plastic. Marketed to be dishwasher safe and "Unbreakable" Set includes a 10" salad serving bowl, 4 salad bowls and a serving fork and spoon Outside of the bowls is lightly textured to give them a wood look
