Vintage Carol Dauplaise Earrings

First, a short history of Carol Dauplaise, Ltd: A New York based costume jewelry company established in 1978. The brand is widely known and was marketed by multiple retailers around the US. Vintage pieces made through the 70s, 80s, and 90s are collectible and wearable today. Company started with one designer and one sales person, and grew to become one of the largest jewelry wholesalers in the United States. These round, white enamel, gold tone clip on earrings are signature signed “Duplaise” on back as seen in photos. Earrings measure 3 1/2 cm diameter, 5 mm of gold tone border and 3 cm of shiney white enamel in the center.
