I scream, you scream! Pair of 1990 Oreo Cookie Ice Cream/Sundae/Dessert Individual Dishes, available now! Marked on the bottom: TM & ©Kraft Foods Holdings, Inc. Originally made in China, for Houston Harvest Gift Products, LLC, the distributor, which is noted on the bottom, with the round seal for Houston Harvest. The Oreo name derives from one or more of the following proposals: 1. Derivative from the French word for "gold," which may have been the color of the first packages; 2. From the Greek word "wpaio," which means 'nice or attractive;' 3. orexigenic, meaning something that stimulates the appetite; or 4. An easy word to spell and say. (We vote for #4.) Oreos were first invented on March 6, 1912. As to who invented them, that's up for grabs. Each dish is 8-1/4" long by 3-1/2" wide, depth inside 1-3/8", depth outside 1-2/3". Each weighs 1 pound +/-. The grandkids will love them, and you will, too. We all Scream for Ice Cream!! Condition is excellent. There is a pouring bump on the bottom of each dish. No chips or cracks observed. Sold as a pair.
