This is a vintage Louis Vuitton monogram in good condition. No rips, no tears, missing 1 rivet which does not affect the functionality or overall aesthetics of the bag. No smell. Rolled handles have light patina. Interior is very clean.
Zipper (Eclair) is original for this vintage LV. See below for history.

History: “Third-Party Zippers On Louis Vuitton Bags.
Prior to the mid-1980s a lot of Louis Vuitton bags and luggage pieces used hardware made by other companies. One of the reasons why this happened is because the brand had ambition to conquer the US market without having any manufacturing entity here. While vintage Louis Vuitton French Company bags were manufactured under a special license, they might have been a little different in terms of materials.
The well-known hardware brands that Louis Vuitton used to work with include but are not limited to ECLAIR, TALON, ROBIN and Coats & Clarks.”

@sgebru Will ship it tomorrow. But for items $500 and up, it will go through Poshmark authentication, which means getting the bag within 7-10 days I think, as it will go to their headquarters first, then they will do the authentication and send it to you from there.

The thing is, if I don’t send it through the usual process with purchases of $500 and send the purse to you directly, PM will think I did not send the bag because the address on their mailing label is to their headquarters and they won’t be receiving it for authentication. Payments are only released to the seller a few days after tracking shows that the buyer has received the item.

@sgebru Also, if you really want to get the bag by weekend, the soonest you will get it is Saturday afternoon if I send it to you tomorrow. If you google how much an overnight delivery sent on Friday costs, Fedex charges a surcharge of $16 on top of their usual overnight prices. This is because you pay for a Saturday. Fedex overnights on Friday means the shipment will arrive on Monday. Practically speaking, I think it’s best if we just keep the recent transaction. 😉
