Apologies for the delay! The content is 65%cotton and 35% Polyester. I have paired it with a champagne colored satin skirt and also a black dress. I think it would also look terrific with grey. If you type in "Lafayette 148 Helena Brocade Jacket" in images (google or other search engine) you can see it paired with a variety of colors. Hope this helps!
