This is another piece which hurts to sell because it is beautiful. The fundamental question when collecting jewelry is - when is it collecting vs. hoarding? Is it ok to just wear something 1-2 times a year? This is one of those pieces which I just don't reach for as much as I thought I would. Why is this pendant special to me? I bought it at auction as part of a "vintage pin" collection that went on the market. I worked with a jeweler to convert the vintage pin (pictured in the 2nd to last pix) into a pendant. The last picture is a snapshot of other pins that were part of that collection too. Details: - 2" wide (packs a punch in the looks dept) - .75" long with bale - Nice big bale which fits most chains - lays really nice once on - 3 tiny diamonds on the front I tend to wear it on a thick black silk cord which really makes the pendant pop! It also plays really well with yellow gold which is what I mostly have.
