Commemorative Compass 1905 SS Atlantic

Gimballed Star Boston Compass in SS Atlantic 1905 Box Wood box with gimballed Star Boston compass in good, aged condition. Brass plaque on front reads "S.S. Atlantic 1905". There is no needle on facing, it may be within the class enclosure, but indicator ring swivels freely and appears to stay fixed in the right direction (this is a dry compass with no liquid in the chamber). Box measures approx. 4.5" high and 6" x 6.5" wide. Serial number on compass is 18586. Item and box are both in excellent shape.
