1980s Vintage Lipstick Red Fitted Cocktail Dress With Gold Trim & Shoulder Pads

A fantastic vibrant red fitted cocktail dress from the 1980s by Adele Simpson with huge shoulder pads and gold trim on the bust. The second label is Montaldos. Made in the USA. A real stand out dress . This dress has a low wide square neckline with huge shoulder pads and raglan long sleeves. The dress is slim and fitted with gold and white metallic decorative braiding trim on the bust, front and back. It has a long back zipper and a small back slit. A polyester crepe I believe. It is marked an 80s size 6, which is not the same as todays sizing. My mannequin is a size 2. It is slightly large on her. Bust 34" Waist to 30" Hips 36" 38" long. Please be smaller for ease. This is not a tight body con dress but more slim fitted and elegant. In very good condition. A small brushed almost pull in the back and a mark along the waist line from sitting. I have not cleaned this dress.
