SILK MAISON Piano Halterneck Maxi Silk Dress - Black & White, XS

Reposhing this item I purchased from @kristellebatch. Loved it, but ready to rotate for something new. Gorgeous romantic, subtle, and dramatic dress (I know, it embraces contradictions). I never wore it bc I would have needed to tailor it a bit due to the length and waist being a bit big on my petite frame. Amazing for a black tie event! I am really in love with black-and-white color blocking right now, especially as a Dark Winter with naturally high color contrast. I also love the 90s-ish revival of halter necklines. Personally, I think the volume in the back of the longer tie straps is so good. Some halter styles nowadays don’t actually tie in the back, but are hooked or buttoned, which I don’t love. I only want to part with this if someone makes an offer close to the listing price, since I do think it’s beautiful, and I’d love to wear it someday. Questions? Leave a comment below!
