Vintage “Faux Turquoise” Natural Stone Chunky Necklace With Silver Beads

This was purchased at the Museum of Natural History in Santa Barbara, California one of my favorite places to visit. This is a faux turquoise necklace that looks so real it’s astonishing however, it is either Magnesite or Howlite—the natural stone weight is substantial; heavy. The chunks are about 1 inch each and have silver decorative beads between them. The necklace can be shortened or lengthened. At its longest it is approximately 11 inches. See photos. This would look amazing with almost any outfit whether you are a denim cowgirl or a Boho princess. It’s a big statement necklace: the natural stone crevices & matrix patterns really give some texture and interest. Would also be beautiful with a white dress, shirt, beach apparel, any sort of denim or alpaca sweater/wrap, or even with a Prom or wedding dress- whatever is your vibe or tribe! I am selling because I really have too much stuff and it’s time to share my life’s passions. This would make a nice gift for yourself or someone else. It really looks like new, even though it is a rock of the ages.
