Vintage 1994 Bradford Exchange - Lena Liu's Beautiful Gardens Collection - "The Iris Garden" 3D Style Limited Edition Collectible Plate C Series of plates. Series went up to G...so this is an earlier plate...and now a collectors "EYE CANDY" ❤️ This plate titled "The Iris Garden," put out by the Bradford Exchange from the collection "Lena Liu's Beautiful Gardens." The plate was inspired by the original artwork of Lena Liu. It features pastel colored irises with long plump green foliage and a butterfly flitting around in the sky, created using 3D style artwork. There is a silver ring on the back of the plate to use for wall hanging. The plate is in very nice condition with no breaks, chips, cracks, or crazing. The back of the plate has the Bradford Exchange Stamp and C Series plate #. The easel does not come with the plate and is only for photographic purposes. Fun Facts: Lena had her first painting lessons as a child in Taiwan under the guidance of renowned painters Professors Sun Chia-Chin and Huang Chun-Pi. She came to the United States in 1972 to study architecture at the State University of Buffalo, and later did graduate work at the School of Architecture at U.C.L.A.
