red LEATHER COAT vintage trench jacket S

Rich true-red (not 'pink' like the pics kinda look) leather vintage coat. Great quality, not 'crispy' from age. Fully lined in satin, and also has a light quilted zip-out insulation lining in the body. Side slash pockets. Two tags inside, please let me know if you'd like pics. The first says "Couture Originale, Nestels of Canada, Made in Canada", and the next one says "The Old Mill, Blyth, Ontario, Canada, Glen Laine by Bainton Limited, Wool and Leather Specialist since 1894". I don't know the exact age, but it's 1968 or after for sure. Shown on a size 4 mannequin and model, has a little bit of extra room, but it will depend on how snug you like your coats, and what you're layering over. Please compare the measurements below with a coat you have at home that fits well. ACTUAL GARMENT MEASUREMENTS (no stretch) Shoulders: 15.5" (39.25cm) Sleeves: 21.5" (54.5cm) Bust: 36" (91.5cm) Waist: 30" (76cm) Hip: 38" (96.5cm) Length: 36" (91.5cm) Overall good condition for it's age, the buttons are a little loose-feeling (pictures 4 and 5), but still functional and holding. The very top button, at the collar, is missing. Also, as you can see in the pictures, the edges are darkened from use and age. Personally, I don't feel like it 'detracts' from the look, but someone told me there's a leather polish that's kind of a 'cleaner'? I'll see if I can find more info on that. There is a scratch in the leather on the right bust. Priced to reflect condition, but presents wonderfully!
