Detailed Quetzal Statue, Carved from Horn, Bangkok, Thailand, Bird, Peac…

I really love this statue / sculpture of what looks like a peacock but it probably a quetzal. It appears to be carved from a water buffalo horn and mounted on a wood base. The bottom just says Bangkok, Thailand. It is very detailed *please check close up photos). A real work of art. The front of the sculpture shows wear and ridging from the horn. I'm tempted to keep this for myself.
