Custom Upcycled Jeans Sz 12 14 Patchwork Hand Embroidered Sashiko Boro

Over 35 hours of customization went into making these upcycled jeans. Originally made for someone, they decided they wanted a different theme. 🥰 American Eagle, Boyfriend Cut, Distressed blue denim 27” inseam Originally a size 14, but the sides were “tacked in” and a piece of elastic added to the back to stop the “back gap” that happens when your waist is smaller than your caboose. Both adjustments can be reversed easily with a pair of scissors to clip the threads. The adjustments made to the waist make these jeans fit more like a loose size 12. These were originally made as a custom order. The theme is “Hey, Honey!” Decorated with hand embroidery and patches of honey bees, flowers, and an extra pocket (because one can never have too many pockets!) 😂 This style of hand embroidery is called Sashiko (Japan) or Boro (India) and it is rapidly becoming very popular.
