NWT Douglas Hannant 8 skirt and blouse RUNWAY

Perfect for a special honeymoon or vacation, this silk top and matching skirt are truly unique. Both pieces have double layers of silk crepe. The skirt has asymmetrical curved seams, allowing the skirt to be smooth at the hips, and kick a little as you walk. The top has pleats at the collarbone, a tie at the neck and buttons all down one side. I tried to capture the beauty of the silk but it is even better in person. It gleams in the light, slightly shot, so it changes color depending on the angle. Douglas Hannant was a NYC based designer specializing in bridal collections. This is his work circa 2010ish. Absolutely stunning. He hasn’t produced any new work for years, so this is rare, one of a kind, and very special! Labeled a size 8, but I’ve provided measurements. I’ve also provided pictures of the price tag. These pieces are each priced at 880, but the skirt’s price tag is missing. This was a real joy to photograph-these pieces are gorgeous!
