Vintage 1950’s Vassarette Paisley & Floral Lace Nightgown and Overcoat Forever Darling | Delicate and Dainty Extremely Rare and Vintage, they don’t make items like this anymore. This stunning Vintage full length lace 2 piece dress and gown set is to die for! The beautiful sheer lace has a paisley floral print and is in excellent condition for being over 70 years old! The dress is perfectly made to highlight your assets with delicate straps and an exposed back with a cute frill at the bottom that is just wonderful to walk in. The duster overcoat is long sleeve with a tie at the front to close. From Vassarette “Division of Munsingwear Incorporated” Colour is an Ivory white. Tag says 34, Metric size 85 In 1951, “Vassarette” was born, culminating in the launch of bras and panties. Seven years later, Vassarette combined with another Munsingwear holding company to become “Hollywood Vassarette.” While the name merger did not last, some of the brand’s most collectible vintage pieces have the “Hollywood” label.
