Switzer's Vintage Wrap Coat Womens M - XL 100% Wool Rabbit Fur Shawl Collar Switzer's was a womens clothing company in Nevada and Arizona. They made a lot of fur coats including ones like this. The size and the fabric tags are gone. I am unsure of the age. It's a timeless chic style coat. 60's - 70s? Switzers ran from 1954 - 1994. There are no buttons at all. You wrap the one side over to close the coat and use the belt to tie it shut. Hollywood 50's glam wrap maxi coat in camel tan with wide fur shawl collar. Ample fabric and movement. Fully lined. The fur collar is stitched to the coat lapels - it's not detachable. Fit Intel: The size tag is gone. This coat has an oversized fit. It has minimal shoulder pads. It can fit a range of body types. The shoulders are a little wide on my 6-8 dress form, but it works when you cinch the belt. It can fit larger mediums, Large and smaller XL. See measurements. Fabric: There is no fabric tag, but I think the body is 100% wool. The lining feels like satin polyester. I think this fur is rabbit. Dry clean only. There are several dings in the wool fabric mostly at the bottom of the coat - see the last 2 photos. There are some of these imperfections on the sleeves as well.
