SOLD Just in time for the holidays, a beautiful plaid super vintage skirt by option fashion! this is a 1940-1960 piece, but full rayon and polyester to give is a warm, wooly feel. do not be fooled by the tag. we are talking a 1940s sz 12 which translates to a snug 6 on todays US market. this sizing would be between a 4-6 and is ankle length for 5'6" high-waist. super vintage, check comments for measurements, holiday, costume, period

bjsstylehertz@hdruiter waist measures 28". from experience, I will say it is not forgiving, but I remember it being worn by 24"-28 1/2" waists. there is a zipper closure on the side and a hidden strap-over button at the top of the zipper (let me know if pictures are helpful) so I think the 28 1/2" waist perhaps didn't use the button, only the zipper. the length is 31 1/2" which was ankle length for most who wore it between 5'3" and 5'6" I hope that is helpful!
