Too adorable, TRUE Vintage, late 50's, sweetheart Americana fitted dress in red white and blue. ❤️🤍💙 I helped my mom's friend clear out her mother's house after her passing and I was paid in spectacular vintage clothing that belonged to her mother. This one is a gem but is sadly too small for me. I'm almost positive it's handmade. The stitching would indicate as much and there are no tags or marks of a manufacturer. I believe the fabric is a linen cotton blend. I weigh 125 lbs and it's about 2 sizes too small for me. There a few faint stains on the inside of the collar. I have kept this treasure in great condition in a garment bag. Features cinch waist and darling functioning hip pockets. The chest pockets are non functional- just for show. The peter pan collar and little floral attachments are too darn cute. It reminds me of Henry and Ramona on the 4th of July. This is for a petite frame. It's in amazing condition and has held up better than anything I've gotten from fast fashion. Hand wash, dry clean or spot treat then hang dry. I don't recommend putting this in a washing machine.
