True Vintage Early 1960s Evan-Picone High-Waist Wool Skort with Buttons, Size 8

Measurements (laying flat) approx: waist: 12 in. - hip: 21 in. length: 18.5 in. - inseam: 7 in. - leg opening: 13.5 in. Alas, this is dated from before Evan-Picone outfitted The Mary Tyler Moore Show, but knowing that's where they were headed should give you the right vibe. There's no materials tag but based on cotemporal pieces this is probably wool with an acetate lining. Perfect retro look with waist-snatching structure that you basically have to buy shapewear to achieve with modern garments. Love the Bonnie Cashin influence in the tricolor plaid; without her dog leash skirt, we'd never have gotten to the straps and o-rings of modern mallgoth goofballs. The size is a vintage 8, which fits like a modern XS Please note the last pic, where there is a hole in the fabric and liner. Paint has worn off the original buttons, but all are present.
