Founded in 1742, Sweden’s oldest glass company, Kosta Boda has a reputation as the country’s most artistic and experimental glassmaker. The glassworks’ early products consisted of everyday glassware, such as bottles, windowpanes, but also glass chandeliers and similar items. As the company recruited master craftsmen from Bohemia, it created fine crystal for an aristocratic clientele. Manufacturing now takes place at the principal glassworks in Kosta and at Åfors Glassworks It measures approximately 8 1/2” H, 6” in diameter at the widest point
