Vintage 1956 Eyelet Organza Pastel Periwinkle Blue Wedding Gown
Wedding Gown In Eyelet Organza Pale Blue
Cotton With Two Layer Satin Underskirt
Vintage 1956
Exceptionally pretty wedding dress in periwinkle blue organza eyelet with a solid underskirt. Just add a crinoline and you're set to walk down the aisle, fifties style.
This museum worthy, tea length gown was worn in a 1956 wedding but the timeless style is a classic.
It would also make a gorgeous choice for a bridesmaid, a garden party or for a teen prom.
The periwinkle blue gray color is a nice option for someone who doesn't want a traditional white wedding.
Good overall condition. No stains, just some slight fading. The metal back zipper slides easily. Found in an attic in dusty condition, this dress has been hand washed and steam ironed.
Underskirt is slightly longer than the scalloped eyelet overskirt as it was designed to be worn with a pouffy crinoline.
Buy this one NOW because you love it. Save it for later because in time, when you go looking for one 'just like it', you'll wish you had...

Hi, it’s seems that my measurements match the dress but you have it marked as Sz 12, but I’m between a Sz 4 usually- do you think it’ll be too big? Thx

@nicholediamond Good Afternoon! Since this dress is handmade, I believe if your measurements match those of the dress, it should fit😊

@4everetro Good Afternoon! The garment itself has faded throughout with age, but still has lots of life left! Please let me know if this helps😊
