duqphd @laurenjanet The coffee and Bailey’s was so good! But not as good as the pumpkin drink with real pumpkin Steve made me last night. See pic. Made me like 5. Maybe 6. I tripped and hurt my arm. Me and another mom were exchanging drunk stories this morning at dance from last night. Did I tell you AJ takes hip-hop? 😁

duqphd @laurenjanet We rescued him. He’s from Kentucky. And while he’s not BG, he is costing me just as much! Of course, I rescue a dog who has ehrlichiosis. Which should be treatable by doxycycline. But of course I get the dog who can’t take that and ends up with near liver failure. Every time we go to the vet, it’s over $1,000. But again, I take him to a holistic vet—the one I took Emma to.

laurenjanet @duqphd the last time I drank, I fell down the stairs...kinda my thing. Legs up, head down, drink not spilled. I thought I probably should choose to not drink anymore. Then I got pregnant. So it's been nearly a year. Maybe I'll just be sober. Because I'm a real A-Hole when I drink heavily. I love drinking

laurenjanet @duqphd Kostya and I now share my Chihuahua, his shih tzu, and two cats. But I really want a house cow, a pygmy goat, a sea otter, and a kitten also. How is it with you and your vet issues?!! That's how midnight was. Everything was wrong and so expensive - and I would've paid for anything. Because we love them!!

duqphd @laurenjanet Hi Rachel, this is Sarah at Cranberry. Dr. Maro asked me to let you know that we have Jammer's blood work back and he is very strong positive on his ehrlichia titer. He will also need a rabies vaccine at some point in the future as his rabies titer was below protective levels.

duqphd @laurenjanet His general blood work shows signs of poor absorption of fats (low cholesterol) that Dr. Maro will follow up on at a future visit. On his fecal test, he is positive for hookworms, so we will need to get you dewormer. That will be Drontal so you'll give one dose now and another dose 2 weeks from now. Should I get that ready to mail out to you?

laurenjanet @duqphd 🤣🤣🤣 Not drinking is hard. Not during the pregnancy... But I would love to have shared a margarita, a bailey's and coffee, I used to drink those before my morning bar tending shift. Mmmmmm I love tequila. And I love beer. Cheap, trashy beer like bud light.

laurenjanet @duqphd holy crap I learned from our last vet visit to go to CVS for the prescriptions that you can. When they come from the vet they are so much more expensive. Mac had a corneal ulcer. That was rather pricey. And am impacted cyst. So gross. And now a heart murmur...and tracheal collapse. Get that rx card
