‘65 Borel Kaleidoscope Watch- Box, Papers, Leather Band, 17 Jewels & Manual Wind

A gorgeous vintage Ernest Borel watch with original paperwork and box. It belonged to my grandmother. It was bought Nov 1965 in a Bahamian Store. It is a kaleidoscope style, when it’s running the face spins creating a beautiful kaleidoscope. Inside it is marked Swiss made and 17 jewels. I can get it to wind and run, but it has been sitting for decades and probably needs a once over by a watch repairer. The band is Norwegian calf leather. The metal I believe is gold plated. There are some pits and chips to the metal on the back cover of the watch, see photos. Comes in original box with original paperwork showing the watch number, purchase date, purchase location, sales associate, etc. Beautiful sought after style!
