Vintage Incredible Unique Beaded Collar Necklace Velvet Gold Tone Chain AB Beads

This is an outstanding piece! I’ve never come across anything like this before. It appears to be a vintage beaded collar with ribboned velvet and Aurora Borealis glass beads between the velvet and extending below the ribbon. 9 1/2” long, 1 3/4” At widest part. The workmanship is fantastic! The attached chain is gold tone and has a tag that is signed Monet, with pave crystals on the back side. The chain doesn’t seem to match the age of the collar. It seems the beaded collar at some point was converted into a necklace. Total length of the chain is 11” and is adjustable with a lobster claw clasp. GORGEOUS piece!
