VINTAGE Steve Madden Helmet 1990s Platform Combat Boot Sz 8

MEASUREMENTS Marked Size: 8B Sole, heel to toe: 10-7/8" Sole, across ball of foot: 4" Shaft, down back from top of the heel (not ground) to the top of the leather upper: 8" Heel: just over 2" and a 7/8" platform These fabulous lace-up chunky-heel Steve Madden boots were Made in Brazil--which tells us they were made in the 1990s--and are black leather with khaki gray canvas fabric designs on either side, one side of which also includes a green fabric patch with G 4 1 written in rhinestone and a brick red sewn-on star emblem. Marked Size 8B, they run pretty true to size, perhaps a half size small, as they are snug on my Size 7.5-8 foot. The beauty of these boots is their stacked leather chunky heels and slight platform soles and that blocky kinda-round-kinda-square toe.
