Vintage pre-1980 Calvin Klein purse/clutch with removable strap

This item was purchased at a private sample sale held by Charles Jourdan in their 5th Avenue headquarters i 1981. It has never been used. The packing materials were removed for the photographs. At that time, the retail price was about $300, I paid significantly less. The color is represented well in the photograph but slightly deeper. A true red with no orange influences. It had a double closure and inside zipper pocket. The purse has always been stored in a climate controlled environment and is, without qualification, perfect. You will never find a softer leather.
