ecotiqueco @starraether of course. sorry, I've been ill. The elastic is in the back and is about two inches wide and is under the faux leather. I stretched the belt out and while it stretches to 36", I think it would be pretty tight for your waist. One option would be to buy a longer lace to allow it to open more in the front. The lace it comes with is already loosened as much as it will go. I hope this helps.

ecotiqueco @starraether sorry, I said elastic but I meant Velcro. If you look k at the picture of the back of the belt, it’s probably underneath the faux leather.
