Rare 14k Gold Over Nickel Vintage Unsigned Gripoix Style Clamper Bracelet

This clamper bracelet is a beauty and a head scratcher. After a year of research and pictures sent as far away as Paris, the general opinion is that it is well made and could be a Reinad, many pieces were one of a kind and were furnished for runway shows. Reinad was a costume jewelry designer who notoriously knocked off Chanel and took Chanel’s name for 1 season in 1941. They had to revert back to Reinad Novelty after being pressured by House of Chanel in France. It’s a beautiful piece and always a conversation starter. Gripoix Paris has looked at it and it is not one of their pieces even though the stones are all glass. The piece is actually 14k gold plated nickel per the gemologists metal read. He says this is why it hasn’t tarnished.
