This lamp is made to look like the old Coleman lanterns used for camping. It is bright and uses a 40w bulb type B. It has a very long cord. It also has a hanging/handle feature. We used it for a children’s guest room. It could also be used on a porch or in the family room. It can not be outside in a damp area. The covering around bulb is a hard clear plastic. No glass. The lamp is in like new condition.
