Darling 1950s style polka dot dress. White with red dots, red trim, and red buttons. New Look silhouette with strong shoulders and a-line to fuller skirt. Made in the 1980s, it has all the period flavor of an earlier piece and can really be accented nicely with vintage details. Buttons down the front, light elastic at the waist. No stretch rayon. Shoulder pads. Tag: Merri D. Shown on dress form with a 36" B / 26" W / 36" H. Suggest a modern M to L with this no stretch fabric. B 40" W 27-29" H 45” Length 49” Thread belt loops but no belt (and 1 loop is hanging loose). Great vintage condition with no major issues to mention - there is at least one small mark on the white. Please use photos as part of description. Sold As-Is.

roxanamaldoDo you think the pleats in front could be taken out to make it work for a 32 waist? Is there any discoloration there at the pleats? I was thinking to put in elastic and cover it with a red belt if I can find one.
