When I was a kid in a small town in Minnesota, I loved getting ice cream cones at the drugstore soda counter. My favorite flavor was White House Cherry; vanilla with just enough cherry juice to turn it lusciously pale pink, and big chunks of dark cherries. I mention this because that ice cream and this dress are inextricably connected in my mind; they are the EXACT SAME COLORS. Talk about mouthwatering! This extravagant, joyous dress is so beautiful and comfortable that it will truly hurt me to see it rehomed. However...when I ordered it, I sized up as I always do for designer garments, but this is a TRUE size 14 and therefore too much for me...I never wore it. (The stock photo shows the desired effect.) The palest pink, medium-weight broderie cotton is luxuriously embroidered in cheerful deep cherry red. The exaggerated a-line will camouflage every imaginable figure flaw. Details like careful gathering, side pockets, double buttons, a gold collar button, and full lining make this a true feast for the senses. Wear as a dress...or try as a jacket! The fiber is more substantial than you might think, so this is best for transitional wear rather than the height of summer. Approximate measurements when fastened and laid flat: 33" long from bottom of collar; 21" pit to pit. As always, from a smoke-free and pet-free closet!
