I felt like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz , when I wore this dress as a teen! She didn’t wear wool, but she wishes she could have during cold Kansas winters!!! Although it’s shorter, because it was the 1960’s!! Rusty Brown and Cream Houndstooth Wool Dress with lined bodice. Flutter cap sleeves. Empire waistline with crossover V-neck bodice. (May be pinned closed for modesty) Back zipper. Attached belt to tie in back. Material not listed on tag, but believed to be wool. Dry clean only. Good, pre-loved condition from the 1960’s. Approximate measurements: pit to pit- 14” Empire waistline- 15”. Overall length- 31”. Bottom hem- 30.5” Length of each side of belt- 25”. I wore this as a young teen as a dress and later as a jumper over slacks or leggings.
