It's soft as all can be ( I even turned it completely inside out to take some pics!) However, that also unfortunately means it takes on patina easily. Like an old bomber jacket, it has a cool look on its own. 4 corners show wear, scratch marks inside, some pitting, scratches and lighter marks on front and back. Braided handle and strap are excellent, 2 tiny areas of light color on handle. Recommend a great restoration specialist who can easily do a few cosmetic touches. 2 inner small pockets, 1 large zip pocket.
