VHTF RARE Vintage BASILE Couture 30s Style Ruched Velvet Evening Gown

Outstanding vintage velvet and silky velvet viscose evening gown done in a 1930s elegant style. It has a draped drop waist with button down front and short sleeves. The skirt of the dress is pulled up to drape with a dramatically high front slit. Zip back. This is about a size small and measures bust 32, waist 26, hips 36 length 50. Basile's designer was Luciano Soprani and his designs were fabulous and very expensive. He also designed for Gucci. Very few pieces of his private label clothing show up for sale on the internet and are pricey when they do as they are very collectible and run into the thousands of dollars.
