A beautiful example of a classic look out of India, this net shawl has a scattered embroidery of flowers on the field of pink with a heavy metal Zardozi border giving it a distinct glamour. Perfect for a wedding, night out, or even a festival if you want to step it up. True Vintage, in excellent condition. Started life as a party dupatta long ago and far away. peacebus Hello! Would you say this is a more orangey or yellow pink? I’m trying to match a rose pink but not sure if this would work.

kyetaka @peacebus hello- I pulled this out to look at it and be sure before I answered. I feel like I did a pretty good job of catching the color on camera - I only use natural light, no filters, and the walls are a soft white and gray, respectively - but of course all monitors are a tiny bit different. I feel like this is a deep rose color - I don’t see any yellow or orange in it, per say.

kyetaka @peacebus This would look great with white, cream, orange, marigold, rose, or a pale pink. Perhaps a pastel yellow, but?? That one might depend. I hope this helps, even if its nebulous! 😅 Color can be tricky! If you’d like to see it on a particular background color tell me and I’ll try to get a shot of it for you. I’ll be back tonight, so the photos would be taken tomorrow morning, but I’m happy to do it.

peacebus Thanks for your response! This is the dress I’m trying to color match… They look slightly off to me but not sure! You have another beautiful one listed that looks a colour match but it’s a bit out of my budget. How would you say this two pinks compare?

kyetaka @peacebus hi- thanks so much for the link! Okay- so it could be a good match, depending on how photoshopped the site is… I find that generally they look brighter on the web than in person, but I’m not familiar with this company so I cannot say for sure. The wrap is a tiny bit darker, of course its net, so thats not a big deal, but…?? If you feel a different wrap in the closet is a better match feel free to make me an offer and I will absolutely work with you.

kyetaka @peacebus if you wish, use the magnifying glass icon at the top right of my page and type in “pink wrap” and what I have listed will come up. There is another direction you could take; I have a black net wrap thats not yet listed, its …incredible… and its got silver bead & sequin work, and pink jeweled flowers that match the dress perfectly. I’ll throw up a preview listing (just down and dirty, super quick, not my normal standard) to see if it would be of interest.

kyetaka @peacebus I posted the black and pink wrap- the color is not silver, but rather a gold washed silver on the metal, so it comes across as right between the two, with some very antique gold look on the embroidered chain stitching. I can also look around, if you wish, to see what else I have to list. I’m uncertain which other wrap you are comparing to this one, so I cannot answer your question properly, but I’ll be back in a few hours and will check in then :)

Glad to hear you like it- I’ve been on the fence about selling the black one, its so special- but family weddings are getting scarcer in my life, as the current generation is all married off and now we are all just waiting for grandchildren LoL I’ll take a look through my others to see if anything stands out that might work.
