A 900 gold (21.6k) Mexican Dos (2) Pesos coin minted in 1945 is set in this 14k yellow gold ring setting. This 1.666 gram antique gold coin features the Mexican eagle eating a snake on a cactus with wreath below and "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS" above. The reverse side has "Dos Pesos" in bold letters with date "1945" above and small letter "Mo" below. A laurel wreath surrounds the lettering. The coin was minted with 21.6k or 900/1000 purity gold (just under 22k gold) and measures approx. 13mm in diameter. A gorgeous and timeless piece, this classic, simple, & sturdy bezel frames the coin, allowing it to be viewed from either side. The ring was finished with thick dense shoulders and a sturdy band meant to last. The inside is stamped "14k" (gold). The ring measures size 4.5. The setting and coin are in very good vintage estate condition with minor expected surface wear to gold.
