This scene from Russia is a remarkably whimsical and nostalgic touch to any home décor! This regal horse and rider is beautifully depicted in front of a castle. There is a princess in the top left hand corner and a flying mystic overhead. The scene tells the story of the abduction of Ludmila, the daughter of Prince Vladimir of the Kievan Rus' (reigned 980–1015), by an evil wizard and the attempt by the brave knight Ruslan to find and rescue her. (Wikipedia). This is a numbered plate; 195 in a limited Russian Legends Series, 1988. Bradex No. 60-V25-1.1 There is no Certificate of authentication, Information Booklet or Original Box. The price has been decreased to compensate for this. Size: Approximately 7 3/4 inches (approx. 20 cm.) in diameter. **This is a decorative accessory and NOT to be used for food service!** Condition: No issues; glossy finish, no chips, cracks or crazing. The golden border and accents are intact. Please zoom in and check out all pictures. Such a fairy tale depiction of this folktale! Collect the entire series or mix and match to create a wall plate feature wall. Enjoy! **New to Poshmark?
