Gray velour vintage Stetson Sovereign Fedora hat, in excellent, pristine, like-new condition, in original box. The hat was rarely, if ever worn. Hat is from the 1950’s. The Sovereign model is one of the top tier Stetson hats. The hat has a braided band around the base, and a feather decor. The inside lining is satin, and there is an interior leather sweatband. The inside sweatband has the monogram initials MMP. Not sure what the exterior hat material is, either velour, velvet, suede, or something very soft and smooth to the touch. The original box has the retailer’s name, Worth and Worth Ltd., in New York City. The size of the hat is 7 1/8.
