Gorgeous, large handblown ashtray / trinket dish in thick ruby red art glass. I love the elegance and movement of this sculptural shape—reminiscent of a boomerang or Kidney bean—which seems to transform when viewed from different angles. And the way the glass reflects light so beautifully. Measures 9” L x 5.5” W x 3” H. It has six rounded grooves for cigarettes. I don’t see a maker’s mark, but quite like Viking Art Glass or Murano. Very good vintage condition free of cracks—just to be very through… some general wear in the finish dulls the shine a bit in spots and there are a couple pin-point rough spots along the inner rim that are not visible.
