There is slight wear on the manmade soles and heels (see photos)...which means you won't slip around when you walk. Also, the smallest holes on the straps show use. A note about the cork platform: I thought a bit of the rainbow paint had worn off, but manufacturer photos of the new product show the same effect. Since these were worn twice, significant wear there is unlikely. Heel measures approx. 4 1/2"; platform measures approximately 1". As always, from a smoke-free closet!
