VINTAGE 80s' LOUIS-GUY GIROUX SUEDE/LEATHER/ASTRAKHAN FUR VEST & COAT (SZ 12)

So unique and so gorgeous featuring multi-wear options. Option 1 - Wear suede and leather coat alone. Option 2 - Simply attach buttons of the Astrakhan fur vest to the interior of Coat / this provides an incredible degree of warmth, and looks lovely as the astrakhan peeks out when coat worn open. Option 3 - Wear the long Astrakhan fur vest on its own to add that very cool boho chic look to any outfit - hangs open or add a hook and loop so you can keep it closed. Option 4 - slip vest over top of coat / will not button as it does on interior of coat and is about 1” shorter than coat - it does look great! Coat features: Hidden front button closure, 2 exterior front slide pockets, shoulder pads, pleated shoulder finish, leather finishing down both center fronts, fully lined. Size 12 - Large - please note all measurements prior to purchase as cuts in the 80s were much roomier. Measures when laid flat: Pit to pit: 23-24" Sleeve length: 25.5" Across waist when buttoned: 26-27” Shoulder to shoulder (across back): 18" Shoulder seam to hem - length: 47" Shoulder seam to waist seam: 18.5” Condition: Both coat and vest and interior lining on both are in very good overall condition with minimal signs of wear - see pics. They simply don't make them like this anymore - fabulous vintage piece!
