Moth I Anthro I Y2K I Sideswept Sweater Dress I Purple Motif

In EUC, this is the "Sideswept Sweater Dress" by Moth, for Anthropologie, in the purple motif. This dress came out in the Fall of '09, with a collection of other dresses that Anthro dubbed "A New Vintage." Anthro's description read, "A grand sweep of silky sweaterknit from Moth, cinched by three dainty buttons." Pullover styling. Style #930072. You can find stock images of this dress in current & sold listings on PM. I was not a big fan of this dress as it's a bit frumpy (see below). The jersey lining underneath is somewhat awkward & clingy. No holes, tears or stains. Cute with boots. They gave it a good shot in trying to create a shape. It’s a faux wrap with soft pleats coming down from the shoulder. There are three buttons at the waist to add some curve...I didn’t think it it was possible with a wrap but this dress added heft. I had to doublecheck to make sure I hadn’t worn my petticoat that day.
