barrysblends@sarahcohen557 I would guess this would run a bit long... they do shrink more up than in but normally not more than an inch or so, depending on how you wash and dry. They do stretch a little bit but definitely not as much as a regular tri-blend t-shirt.

barrysblends@sarahcohen557 My ex was about the same size and build as you've described and she wore the same size in Homage unisex shirts (M-L) and we just shared a closet, which was nice on the wallet lol. This style definitely had a more athletic fit across the chest on me. I'm not sure how helpful that is but hopefully somewhat!

sarahcohen557Is this shirt cut for a male body? I am asking if it’s wide or is it more fitted like? Boxier? Loose fitting? Trying to gauge if it will fit me. If there’s anyway to describe that it would be helpful.

barrysblends@sarahcohen557 Are you very familiar with the Homage brand? It's a unisex fit like the older Homage clothing used to be, standard comparatively to the old raglans. The general rule of thumb that we would say in store would be if you wore a typical women's Large from other brands, you would probably want to size down one size to a unisex Medium and if you wore a typical men's Large in other brands, you would probably want to size up one size to the unisex XL.

barrysblends@sarahcohen557 I was a men's medium in most brands but sized up to the unisex Large in these. I'm (male) around 5'11"/170 lbs and this would have a more athletic/fitted look and feel for me. I wouldn't say that it's a "boxy" fit but that would depend on the person and loose fitting would also depend on the person and their body.

barrysblends@sarahcohen557 The cut of the shirt itself is very consistent with the 3/4 sleeve raglans but it is a different fabric than the normal tri-blend tees. It's definitely not as "stretchy" as the t-shirt material as it's terry lined inside and a heavier fabric. I can provide measurements later today if that will be helpful.

sarahcohen557This is really helpful info. I don’t know the homage brand, no. I am a women’s large usually. I don’t want to it fit baggy- but more fitted. I have a larger chest. I went to IU and love the shirt. I just don’t want it to be swimming on me. I hear that it won’t stretch or give much. What is it made out of? Cotton or something else?

If you're comfortable sharing your height I might have a better idea of how it might fit with the measurements. I'll be able to get the full fabric info as well when I get measurements.

barrysblends@sarahcohen557 I cold / delicate washed my tees like this and only had a little initial shrinkage with the first wash. You can get a little more shrinkage with hot water for sure but it won't come out like a children's tee or anything crazy. These ones were pretty heavy duty.

sarahcohen557@barrysblends Thanks so much. Yeah I don’t mind. I’m 5’6- also about 170 lbs. I am a muscular athletic lacrosse player with a larger top than bottom. Because there’s no stretch I wanna make sure it will fit now! Sometimes shirts like this end up tight across chest but long and big everywhere else.
