Antique Framed Picture of Sleeping Child 3D w/ Blanket, Nightgown, & Hair Locks This is a Victorian-era memorial portrait, a form of mourning art popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This is a very unique picture handmade by someone years ago. It is framed in a shabby chic frame. The picture of a child has hair, I silk blanket, a lace trimmed gown and pillow that have been hand sewn. The size is 12.75“ x 10.75“. The framing could use a couple extra tabs on the back to secure the picture but it is stable just a little loose. There is a little damage to the bottom left-hand corner but it’s not very noticeable.
